Well, did you pay it late? If so then there’s nothing you can do. If you paid on time then you need to gather evidence of this, such as cancelled checks or bank statements showing when the account was paid as well as the bills showing when due. Then send this proof along with a copy of your credit report and an explanation letter to each of the 3 bureaus to investigate and dispute the item.

You could dispute and have them reflect as Paid. Historically, it will still show as 120 days pastdue though. But I will still try to go for the Paid status.

I would dispute it unless you know there were late payments.
It says 120+ days late in 12/2006, but it also says it was paid in 12/2005.
Dispute would be how could it be late a year after it was paid?

What is shows is a zero balance on the account but it startes that in 2006 you had a time that you were over 120 days late in paying. Did you default on this account and then you finally decided to pay it off in full when you got the money to do it? If that is the case then congrads on paying off the loan but you can’t remove the late that is being reported and it will stay on your credit report until 04/2014
