   annualcreditreport.com is the real free site to check your credit file for free once a year.

   NOT freecreditreport.com - They require a credit card and enrollment in their monthly service to get your “free credit report.” It’s a scam…but they need your money to pay for all those dumb commercials…..

   You cannot get your credit/FICO score for free…you have to pay extra for this.

   The only site to get your free credit report is called annualcreditreport.com Here are the instructions on how to get your report from the 3 credit bureaus.

   You can call Experian or Transunion yourself and get one.
   You are entitled to one free one a year.

   Did you know there are 3 Credit reports about you, not just 1? That’s because there are 3 credit bureaus. I wrote an article on why this is important to know.
