Moving soon- Hopefully asked:
I plan on moving in March of this year. I know most apt go by credit score but since I have potentially negative reports will that really affect my chance of getting the apt of my choice? What does the “potentially negative”reports mean?

Where did you check your credit report? Please don’t tell me you paid some website for this info! You need to request hard copies of your reports from Then you need to view the negative accounts yourself and look for errors. Go over the reports carefully and get rid of any info that is not current or is not correct. Do you best to get the 9 negative accounts removed if they are indeed bad debts. And yes those 9 accounts can hurt your score tremendously!! So what is your current score? Don’t know? Then how can you even think about moving without first knowing you score? You can get your score at MyFICO.com A low score can definitely lower your chance of moving at all to a place that checks credit!!
“POTENTIALLY NEGATIVE” IS A FANCY TERM FOR JUST PLAIN NEGATIVE.
CHECK CAREFULLY. ARE THE ACCOUNTS LISTED UNDER THIS TERM CORRECT? IF THEY ARE NOT DISPUTE THEM IMMEDIATELY. YOU ONLY HAVE UNTIL MARCH.
IF AFTER YOU DISPUTE ANY UNTRUE ITEMS AND THEY ARE STILL ON YOUR CREDIT REPORT SUE THEM IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT (I DID)
AND DON’T FORGET TO GET YOUR REPORTS FROM ALL THREE CREDIT BUREAUS–TRANS UNION, EXPERIAN AND EQUIFAX.
E-MAIL ME IF YOU NEED FURTHER ASSISTANCE. I HAVE BEEN STUDYING THE FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT FOR THE LAST SIX MONTHS AND SUED EQUIFAX FOR THIRTY SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR THEIR MISTAKES.
GOOD LUCK
