does requesting an investigative or consumer report from a credit bureau/agency affect a person’s credit score? and if so, will this request for such report be recorded on one’s credit report?

(Not a US resident so I’m not really sure how all of this works. Trying to understand a few things here and there! All help is mostly appreciated!)

I believe this will not affect a person’s credit score. I am not sure if you qualify for this but US law requires the three agencies to give you a free copy of your credit report each year.

No looking at you own credit score does not effect you credit score
