Credit Reports
jgaignun asked:

I need to check my credit and don’t want to pay for it. Who would provide the most accurate free information online? I’m also interested to see if I can check my FICO score through one of these sites.

Any additional details or morsels of information would be greatly appreciated and greatly helpful!

TOTALLY FREE — will not ask for your credit card info.

This is the government mandated site where you can get your credit report for free from the 3 credit bureaus once a year.

    No free credit scores, though

Do not do the one that says FREE from the commercial. Oh, baby, they will charge you.
Nothing on this earth is free, if they are paying to advertise it.
One more thing, do not pay for your credit score. Check and know all the information on your report. Fix things, wait a year, and then get the report again.
If you know you paid all your bills, you never need to know your score.

I have found the free ones to be inaccurate. You should pay a little money and do something like myfico.com.

There is only one website that offers your free credit report and that’s annualcreditreport.com.
There is nothing like free credit score. If you need your score also, you will have to pay for it.
