Why Two Different Credit Reports From Equifax?

I received a credit report recently that I did not request. It has only one account on it and about 12 inquiries. I sent a dispute letter back in march to correct the inaccurate addresses and I received a full credit report afterwards. Two weeks ago I received a partial one again as forstated. The reports are from Equifax. I would like to know if anyone has experienced getting two different credit reports even after disputing with a
CRA?

Typically this is due to a variation of SSN or Married and maiden name variations. Or possibly a split or merged report with a mother or father. Check to see what information they are using to create seperate reports and supply current accurate info to close appropriate file Equ. 1 or Equ 2

Personally it may be a spoof on their part by sending you 2 different reports. If you did not request it, and you see no changes between that one and the old one, then a simple phone call may solve the query.
I would look over the new one with a fine tooth comb however, and just make sure there is nothing at all new (e.g. adding your name again on the personal info page, this time with a different variation, etc). The CRA’s do not mail you a new report when something changes, only when you dispute something on the report and it alters what the report reflects, or of course when you order your free annual report.
