I mean come on they will not hire you because of your credit report but how can you pay off the debt with no job?

  1. Ms. Blondie

I completely agree with you! I have a degree but a low credit score and I have been looking for a job with my degree since August!! If you get any good answers could you please let me know? thanks

  2. It may not be fair to you but credit scores are a good way to judge risk in all aspects, renting, buying a home, and even employment. Employers look at someone with a good score and think they are more likely to be dependable, punctual, and hardworking because they have been able to maintain their finances long enough to have a good score. They look at people with low scores as being a higher risk to hire because hey may not be dependable if they can’t pay bills on time. It doesn’t seem fair and may not always be accurate but it usually is a good judge.

  3. If you are sloppy about managing your private life, how can they believe that you will be responsible at work?

Your debts are not the employer’s problem. The fact that you seem too have run up a lot of debts with no job proves my point.

  4. Yeah, did you know your car insurance is based on your credit too? That ***** too!!
