Credit Reports
Texas Girl asked:

My boyfriend, my sister, her boyfriend, and I are all getting a place together. We all must be on the applications. One of us has TERRIBLE credit, 2 of us have no credit, and one of us have credit but its not great. Other than that, our rental histories are good and so is everything else. Do we have a pretty good chance of getting this place??

    There is strength in numbers.

The fact you have 4 folks willing to sign the lease might carry some weight.

Don’t be disappointed if the landlord or agent wants at least one co-signer to further strengthen the application.

In fact, during your search and negotiation, one condition you might try is to ask for the co-signer to be removed aft4r the original term of the lease.

The worst answer you might receive is “No”. Other than in love and romance, “No” never hurt anyone.

Personally, our office would have to look at the entire, overall picture. THEN we would notify you of the decision.

Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed answering it!

Each Person that run a real estate company will have there way of using the credit reports.
Everything will depend on the owner of the home how they want the credit checks done.
Some use the system if one fails they all fail.
Just remember because one real estate company wont rent to you there is another right around the corner that will. Best of luck
